Auckland Hospital CT Scanner Refurbishment

Argon Construction refurbished the procedure and control rooms for CT Scanning in the Oncology building at Auckland Hospital. This project took place in a live environment, while the unit continues to function.

Demolition works were carried out to the existing rooms, with new flooring and concrete plinths installed to take the new machine. The lead protection in the ceiling and walls was upgraded to meet current standards. New partitions and ceilings were constructed, and all new services – including mechanical, fire, electrical, communications and security services – have been installed and connected to the existing hospital systems.
