Argon undertook repairs and maintenance works on one of the heritage glasshouses in the Auckland Domain nursery, Glasshouse 8, which is thought to have been built in the 1920s.
Careful environmental management was needed due to the site’s location, including preventing silt and sediment runoff and protecting existing trees and gardens. Special care was taken to protect heritage elements from weather exposure and damage at all times during the works.
The surrounding nursery continued to operate during the renovation.
