The Hastings District Courthouse is a complex precast and structural steel structure with a range of different functions and spaces including four courtrooms, judge’s chambers, administration offices, custodial areas and public spaces set over two levels.
A high level of technology was incorporated into the building and emphasis on environmental sustainability was required in the building design and construction. Argon were awarded with a Clean Earth Green Award for their efforts in sustainable programmes.
